The Runaway Inn in the early spring has its own charm. And typically the winds are slim if none. Some good friends, good dogs and nice weather made the trip a memorable weekend. I always like to have my last shot of the season be a kill.... as that is the one you remember for the next 8 or 9 months. This year Lady Luck sent an unlucky rooster my way.... especially since I couldn't hit a chukar to save my life. Thanks to Carl and Barb Comer, and the Pepper and Jackson families, for making Joes Co and The Runaway Inn a great place to visit! It was a great closing day as Mike said.
